"Daisy" UK 2008, 12 mins. - Thursday, Oct 30, 6:30pm
starring Josette Barchillon, Max Abram; Dir.Baley Wynn

Daisy has spent most of her twenty-five years living happily in her head and in her novels. She has never quite fit in anywhere, at least not in the classic sense, but it never bothered her. She has always felt exceedingly comfortable in her own skin. Not a social butterfly, she is most content when she is curled up at her typewriter, writing eloquently about passions she has never felt, love she has not experienced and the perfect man she has yet to meet.
Daisy's professional success has not been mirrored by her personal, but far from disillusioning her, a series of disastrous encounters with suitors has merely sent her back to her beloved typewriter, and each time, to her surprise and delight, she has found herself more inspired to create the ultimate prince. Daisy has never been lonely for writing has filled all space.
Before meeting Miles. Suddenly love is not words created by striking keys, it is emotion, and it overwhelms her. Her life before, without Miles, seems unimaginable, a future without him, impossible to contemplate. As they fall more deeply and crazily in love, Daisy finds herself unable to write. Her imagination, once so present and constant, fails her because now the dream is real. Daisy faces the dilemma of her life. She has two great loves. She must decide which of them to abandon.
